Actor Joseph Bitangcol gratefully welcomed year 2012, after getting a second chance in life several months ago.
"Thank you, Lord, dahil binigyan niya ako ng second chance," he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday.
Bitangcol underwent successful operations on his facial injuries after he was hurt in a vehicular accident in Antipolo City last August 10. (http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/entertainment/08/10/11/joseph-bitangcol-hurt-...)
He also thanked his friends who helped him defray the costly medical procedure he went through.
“Sila ang nagbigay ng second life sa akin sa showbiz, kasi [sa] showbiz, puhunan natin mukha talaga, eh,” he said.
Bitangcol was riding a Mitsubishi Montero along Sumulong Highway when a 10-wheeler truck sideswiped the vehicle, causing it to crash.
